Roll and roller covering
We cover rolls and rollers by casting the polyurethane onto the product. This creates an end result with a greater wall thickness.
Rolls and rollers can be post processed with techniques such as grinding and turning (rolls and rollers with diameters up to 1200 mm). This allows us to achieve the correct size, shape or profile.
Composition of the polyurethane lining
The composition of the polyurethane lining depends on the application of the roll/roller. Sometimes a high wear resistance is required. Other times a good cut resistance or tear resistance is required, while in another application the internal heat build-up is decisive. Our specialists are happy to advise you on the right choice of material.
For applications in the food industry we use a food-grade polyurethane. This material is FDA approved. If desired, we can provide a certificate.
