Bend restrictors
Bend restrictors prevent overbending at the interface between cables, flexible flowline or umbilicals and rigid structures by mechanically locking up.
Our polyurethane bend restrictors are supplied as a two half shell split design that are bolted together to mount around a cable, flexible flowline or umbilical. They are mostly fixed at either the topside or seabed connection in a subsea application.
Customized bend restrictors
Polarttech is able to customize bend restrictors for your specific operation. We have developed special polyurethane systems for this typical offshore application. Wherein the materials are successfully exposed to the changing conditions on a daily basis in a tough offshore environment.
